Hi All,
Are any of you out there using a carbon dynamics airbox system on the 325 m20 engine and if so are they worth the hype.
cheers http://www.motormec.co.uk/cda.html

BMC CARBON DYNAMIC ARIBOX :
CDA filtering system is composed of a cylindrical carbon air box containing.............
Sound awesome I'm sceptical of power gains though.

The original airbox is hard to beat IMO, whichreminds me I need one! However a cold airfeed and or heat shield would do yours the world of good.

Works fine on my E30 325i - no restriction in air intake to speak of!

I've got one, but I can't hear it over my exhaust
I tried it on my E46, made a nice noise when you floor it, nice and quiet when cruising at speed. Can't say it made any difference to the power though.

There's some vids of it on the M54B22 in my E46 on this page:
