the car is very quick, i provided all the alloy products for it, even the inlet manifold which was hand made, and also helped with the emerald ecu. was at the dyno with james and it sounded lovely, hardly any lag with that turbo. enigine advantages said there was another 150bhp to be had on that turbo before it needs changing.
Hey James!
Looking good buddy!!
How did you get on with MOT?
Mines in tomorrow @ 0800, bloody laptop failed last night so have to get another beforehand.
I'll buzz you before I pop over later in the week, best get some more miles done so we can go hunting
I'll show your buddy the pipes I want to swap and change about too.
Fozz.

thanks for all the good comments

the turbo manifold is a tubonetics bottom mount for a lefthand drive, i turned it upsidedown and had a half inch flange cut to space it from the head and used double gaskets, then just had to make the adaptor between the manifold and turbo, all seems to be workin wellSy_325 wrote:this is awesome! bound to be an absolute monster!!![]()
what turbo manifold did you use? was it custom made??
315bhp and it can go another 150bhp aswellalloyproducts wrote:enigine advantages said there was another 150bhp to be had on that turbo before it needs changing. Wink

Max

Had the car mapped again last week and put the boost up to 1.4 bar now making 451bhp and 400lbft torque!
the air inlet temp is getting to hot so with a bigger intercooler and a bit more boost should see over 500bhp!
went to retro car show at santapod yesterday and got a 12.8 115mph
on 215 crap tyres! should easily be able to nock a second of it with good rubber

heres another pic of mine and james cars together at his farm.

looks like i will be busy sorting a bigger intercooler out for this thing. its definatly one of the quickest cars ive been in. and that was before the remap. think we will also be sorting out the full throttle gear change on the ecu.
