sorry what i mean is when i drive the car where it usually changes cams when revved up to around 3000rpm and starts pulling harder it justs starts choking and i have to change gear to keep the revs low, i cant rev up. i have to drive it in low revs on every gear. my mechanic thought it was the camshaft sensor but he changed it and it still has the same problem.

The way i understand it you have two cam shafts.
One for the inlet valves
and one for the exhaust valves
If your mechanic told you otherwise i would surgest finding another mechanic
As to the problem have you checked the distributor cap for wear ?
