Wow! Nice job

But that engine looks a little hotter than a boring S14 lol

There is a link to an M3 touring project on here somewhere, may shed some light on how its done.

I would love to take 2 doors out of a touring though, aparently its already been done 8O

From the title I thought that it would look cluttered looking at the sides, but it looks bloody superb!!

Used to have some of those Hartge split rims on an E39 years ago. Very nicely made

I have mixed views on it :?
Is it from birmingham :teehee:
The e36 had a 4 door m3 so why not the e30 but there is no room in the back of a e30 for passengers with anyone around 6ft tall :)
Looks nice though in a strange sort of way :D

That's a tidy conversion! Someone's obviously got a spare few quid to attempt that! 8)

a tidy conversion, but overall pretty pointless.

the 4 door is no moe practical than a 2 door, the boot is no bigger, there is no more headroom or legroom. the 4 door e36 kind of made sense as it is actually a different bodyshape to the coupe rather than just having a couple more doors.

having only 2 doors on my m3 has never been a practical problem, adults, children, child seats etc all fit in fine through a 2door doorwith the seat tilted forwards, and as i'm not often used as a taxi, having to get out to let someone out of the back is hardly a regular chore.

i also think the rear door opening looks a little strange, i think if i was doing it similar i'd go the same way lancia did with the integrale, and take the door opening right to the edge of the arch like so
Image
just looks neatr to my eyes than having a second line following the curve of the arch.
cheers,

harry

Good find! Thought it wasn't an S14 inside, also it shows it can be done to a 4dr too.

Mmmmm, that was exactly what i wanted to do, but after a few years of collecting all the bits, and talking to different different people, could make my mind up and decided to sell my original m3 kit, recently as well, day before this was posted up, kind of regretting it now...

This does look really nice tho.... :cheese: :banghead: :hammer:

That, is bloody lovely.

I've just done a googlefestâ„¢ looking for the M3 Touring someone mentioned, I think the saloon has had the rear arches done much more nicely.

Hmm. Wonder how hard it'd be to get a set of M3 arches knocked up from Carbon Fibre to fit a Touring? I'd like that. Lots.

Thats the worlds smallest wheels on that Touring!
