abs relays...where???

Need technical Q/A then you're in the right place

any1 know where the abs relays r?still got prob with light comming on,just want 2 check relays,r they in the box nxt 2 the airflow meter,with the slide of top??cheers

The abs unit is self contained, just take the top off
Its more likely one of the wheel sensors has perished

actually tiptoes... i think you are right with that assumption. the old grey matter is starting to function more clearly now! LOL

so can u just undo the screw on the top holding down? the 1 with abs written on?!it could well b sensor ,its just the light sometimes comes on b4 i have even moved.

from what you said i would give the sensors a good clean my old 325s history book showed that once a year they failed and were cleaned Daz

Yeah just take the cover off.
The abs loom connects to the car at the battery terminal and earth point behind headlight (i think, not sure) and three wires to the ignition behind glovebox.

thats what i was thinkin (abs dont have any relays its totaly independent with its own loom and ecu)

ABS relays are under the black plastic cover marked ABS on the ABS unit itself behind the left headlamp.
