Hey, After some really helpful advise on my Mtec 2 front valance i thought i would ask if any body knew if 9" Borbet A alloys would fit my 93 touring without any arch mods? i was thinking of fitting them with 215 40 tyres and was wondering if any one had fitted these and if they stuck out to far. I know the rears will fit fine. Any help would be great as i'm looking to purchase this week. Cheers.

They will fit and there are a few people running them. The tyre size will be fine, they do stick out of the arch a little though and may well rub on full lock. The ride will be crashy. I would say go for 7.5J fronts.

I wouldnt go any less wide than standard= 205/45 maybe 195/45 but they wont look that stretched.
You will need to drop the car alot for it to look low with 16" wheels on 205/45.
This is my old tech1 with a 60/40 drop on borbets. 7.5J fronts with 205/45 tyres and 9J rears with 215/45 rears. The ride was HARSH and crashy and grip wasnt all that. Also the car was so low it couldnt clear some speed humps and still didnt look that low. I would go for larger tyres and get the arches rolled professionally. I would go with 215/45 fronts and 225/45 rears for the best look/ride quality for those wheels.

Falkens they have a good arch clearance as they are quite rounded on the edges this also makes them look more streched.

i have 9j borbets all round on mine and i must say the ride is shocking. I thought the ride with 17's was bad but with 16x9 with stretched rubber the ride is truly terrible, crashy and the wide track on the front makes the car tram line badly.
