How do you identify/prove what ratio a diff is if it has no tag/marking on it.
i want to sell my old 3.91LSD but dont think it has any markings on itm, and obviously any one who wants to buy it is going to want proof of the ratio.

if its an LSD it will nhave a large S stamped onto the casing..
Ratio can be found on the tag attached to the diff
(stick it in a glass of coke overnight

ok cheers karan i'll have a look over the weekend, kinda hard to see cos the diff is just caked in mud and stuff
