Had a chat with a bodyshop today and actually trial fitted the Hartge bodykit to the car  how far off is it? about this far ---------------------------------------------------->

It would need LOTS of work to make it fit and to be honest it was never ment for my current car

I have put them in the loft along with the Hartge sideskirts, where they will stay until I have the funds to do the project that I want. This is now seriously on the back burner, what with needing a new bathroom, kitchen finished and lounge sorted out.

SE sideskirts will go back onto mine and the sterio finished and it will be done, apart from getting a new front ARB  and maybe a few bits sprayed, shit does it ever end ?

They are just not made as well as OE BMW kits and don't just bolt on. They need tweeking and massaging, cutting panels I don't want cutting and lots of £££££ etc etc

No keeping both sets. One on my current ride and one on another touring when i get round to it.

Someone built a touring to promote the race/rally car and covered it with the same stickers like this

These are the only pics I can find of it.

I always assumed the hartge kit would be a good fit. Iv only ever fitted one after market kit (alpina) and that was faultless, is it an original?

So did I.

Looks like it, all the proper Hartge moldings etc. The sideskirts were in the original Hartge box with badges and instructions but still didn't go straight on when tried previously.
