Hi peeps,

I have a 1991 325i E30. Few weeks ago I connected a new radio & eversince the following two things dont work on my 13 button OBC:
1. Backlight
2. Code Immobilizer
I have checked and replaced all fuses in the fuse box but to no avail. All other function are working except for the above. Help would be appreciated.
Thanks

sounds like the connector to the obc has come loose, remove the radio and try and press the connector securely into the back of the obc

Thanks for the reply m8.
I find it a bit hard to believe that that could be thje problem. Logic would dictate to me that if the connector has come loose, all other functions on the OBC would not work. Howver on mine, all other functions work save for the two I mentioned.

Yeah, possibly some of the connections in the plug have come loose leaving the plug sitting square but not all the contacts made? :)

Any idea how much OBC stuff works with non standard management, or should I just leave mine disconnected?

Sorry, bit off topic that

Mines going in the bin, when I install MS most of the sensors won't be working, doubt most functions will work....

Ps will leave a nice hole for my DEFI boost gauge!! :D
