Roll cage 325i 4 door

looking for someone to fit a cage to a semi stripped e30 - thought the sparco 10 point looked good value & light. Called custom cages but they need it fully stripped.

Anyone know where I can get this or similar fitted????

Whereabouts are you, and is the car drivable at present?

Doncaster & yes the cars good for the road. I'm happy to travel 100 miles or so - need someone with experience of fitting cages

I'm too far south. Don't worry about experience in fitting a bolt in cage, very difficult to get it wrong. The only welding needed is where the cage legs meet the floor, any reasonably competent MOT repair garage could do that to a decent standard. The Sparco is a good value for money cage, and has a horizontal bar across the transmission tunnel that the Safety Devices doesn't have, also is a 10 point rather than a 6 point, the extra points are the original upper seat belt bolt points and dash points, the latter are a bit useless. The downside is no harness bars, but not a biggie. The SD is very easy to install, if you are paying somebody they will need at least 2/3 hours extra to do the Sparco so add that to your pricing. DT will give you a good discount on Sparco, Automac (Cabrio on here) good for SD. If you go for Safety Devices, if you can work two spanners its incredibly easy to fit it yourself, and all you need then is somebody to weld the floor plates. Anybody doing a full weld in cage for you will need to have the car fully stripped out, SD can fit without taking the dash out, but rear seats need to be out and carpet (if you have one) lifted in the corners and sound deadening removed for the plates. Sparco will need the dash out as well, the rear corners of the dash then need to be cut out as the cage front legs run down the screen pillars. Whichever route you go, for the time involved its a lot easier to strip the car out beforehand anyway just to make it easier to do the cage. If you want a weld in and don't get anybody closer to you, Xsport (they are on the net) in Basingstoke do a good job and race in the PBMW championship so know the cars well.

thanks guys, helpful. Looking to possibly enter in TTRS series & so need to know it complies with their standards - so I've mailed Xsport as they do look pretty focused on that & good to get some recommendations.

Is there one you can get that still allows rear access for a 4 door? like a front cab setup?
