i did a buxton volvo meet when i had my 343 and it was a great place!
did the snake pass but i didnt go very fast. the volvo was from 1970

i wont have an e30 thats running but i may jump in with bodger or just join in a different car and come for the crack.

could do a fast road meet? arrange a route around the buxton area?

right i think we need to arrange a location and date to get things moving again, i suggest The Stock Dove pub in romiley, theres a large carpark with beer garden so should be ok, close to mcdonalds aswell, how about this sunday 29th, if anyone has any better ideas please come forward and if anyone cant make this weekend let us all know and we can rearrange

Sounds like a plan to me. Always up for a hoon Evenings are best for low traffic and fewer dibble. Possible roads for the route could be Cat and Fiddle, A54 etc

could be a plan just to do a small fast road thing to have a blast and a giggle.

thankfully it would be light on an evening cause that snake pass is a twisty one.

though if i was going to do a road meet then it needs to be planned. make a route do a recky (spelling?) for speed camera's etc and enjoy.

unless we did a meet and when the talking and that was over we just went on a blat - designated route and then stopped at a pub for more chat? - or designated route then peal of home.?


I remember bmw NE used to do fast road meets but i missed them, went on a great driving meet where the route was planned out etc and then at the end, me, gall (335i) and a guy called chris (had an e36 325i) went for a naughty blast

i had to really stretch my 318i that was before i started the m30 swap.


we really should change this into the 'meets' section as its progressed that way.
