Ok, just returned from a very succesful trip to the Ring. Car was great but I really need to overhaul the stock brake set up. I recently changed the fluid and pads (green) before the trip but still found plenty of travel in the peddle. I've trawled all the old threads and it appears that most of you still run standard calipers but upgrade everything else ~ am I right?

I gather that the best advie to date is;
Uprated discs (front first, backs to a lesser extent)
Braided fuel lines,
Decent fluid
decent pads.

What about the 285mm upgrade and 4-pot callipers? Is it worth it
(I want to run the 15" wheels)

I've done this on my race car. Very good mod. A lot less travel and stops really well.

I got mine here but you can probably find it cheaper (eurocar parts or GSF).
