Full silver decal kit Spooky!, fookin ace, im thinking of slapping a Hartge on mine, as i think the rear of the car looks a bit slab sided.

This has been a big learning curve for me so far on just how much f**king effort goes into restoring a car. I don't think you can get an idea until you pick up the spanners and start a project. I can totally see how people start and don't finish. It's mental even when you can do a large chunk yourself. I honestly thought at one point i could do the whole car for £5-6k at one point as we have seen the bodywork as swalled that and by the time it's back on the road with a tax disc it's going to be another good 7k i reckon.

I'd say it's worse if you were paying someone or orgainising people to do all of the work for you if you couldn't do it yourself. This would be a nightmare for sure!

If i could of found a C2 in pukka condition (i would of bought it) it would of been far less pain to have stumped up the 8 grand or so for one and just wash and service it. But they aren't out there really so i've had to build my own and then i can do the wash, service, drive and drive and drive it some more!
