Seats - showrooms - try before you buy - Where?????

Anyone know somewhere other than demon tweeks, which is bloody miles away from me, where you can try out a variety of sports/bucket seats???

Preferably somewhere in the south east - but any direction really, just as near to london as possible!!!!!

I tried out loads of seats at the autosport show in Jan, but am struggling to remember which ones i thought were suitable & comfortable - but need to get some soon!!!!

Comfort and size is important to me, so i can't just pick them out of a book/website/etc.
I am quite tall and have back problems, so a good seat is essential!!!!!

ha ha, yeah, halfords seats aren't quite what i was looking for!!!!! Unless there's a bigger store somewhere with a ripseed bit that has a load???

Croydon R&R are cack!!!!! Been in there a few times and never really found them very helpful/useful!!!!

Try GPR in Chiswick. They're Silverstone shop has seats you can try, but I'm not sure if the London shop is the same so best give them a ring first.

Get yourself to a race meeting and have a wander round the paddock, as long as its lunchtime or something and not just before qualifying or racing most drivers will be happy to let you try for size. It also gives a better idea of what the seats are like in situ so you get an idea of the reach to the pedals in relation to reach to the steering wheel etc.

Not sure if the West London shop has seats of whether its just clothing, but you could give them a bell and check.

Cobra now do a new sebring which is taller meaning taller drivers shoulders dount rub on the lateral restraints

Maybe worth a look if you are after a decent with lateral support
