Changed my soft top.

here's a few pics of when i changed my soft top a couple of weeks ago. quite a simple job. the pics are bit crap as i took them with my phone. what do you reckon?

Is that a manual roof??

mr lee- the old roof has a small hole in it. also its easier to take the roof out with the rear interior panels off, and remember how many washers are in each bolt.

How easy was it to fit the roof, seen some eurohoods going cheap, very tempting. Also does the rear sit tight to the body as with the original hoods as mine sits up a bit as yours suggests in the pic.

cheers for the comments, it was simple to fit as it was a hole complete roof with frame. the cloth does sit up at the rear and the hood is ver very tight. quite difficult to shut but its loosening up. the rear sits up but it is completely watertight. no leaks anywhere

Sounds like the same fit as mine at the rear, fitting probably a lot easier with the frame attached.
I was thinking of replaceing the canvas only but will try a redye first to see if it livens it up a bit.

ahhh, i see i was just thinking of doing the canvas too, but that looks a little harder :O

you could do half the job yourself if your just changing canvas. take thee hood off yourself and pay a company to put canvas on then fit hood back on yourself.
