What is the name of the underbody sealant used by BMW?
Or a good alternative.
Im after a thick rubbery sealant. None of this cheap waxoyl type gooey stuff.

It's a polyurethane sealant.
Apparently the proper stuff comes in bags. There was a thread on it a short while ago, with links as to where to get it from.

waterbased stone chip is the way forward , in black or grey , drys into a thick rubbery finish . any paint supplier should stock it .

to be honest i disagree, when i say stone chip , this is what my local body shop calls it . its not the usual crap you put in a shultz gun . you need a pucker gun for this , with which you can put in seams etc . this stuff is just superb .
