Circuit Motors Dyno Day this Sat (14th June)

Hello all,

We are holding a dyno day for a friend of ours who is struggling on getting numbers up. Same old story, had 20 odd takers and now only half have confirmed. They are mainly Japanese cars, but also a monster of an old Gordini turbo is appearing too

Just to say all are welcome from the E30zone too. £35 inc vat for 2 back to back runs measuring power at the wheels and power & torque at the flywheel. Depending on interest we may run all day?

Its a Classic track day too at the Race circuit too, which will include the E30.. Not sure if any spaces left though.

Yeah thanks Paul we had a good time mate, we didnt make it up to your place though as we arrived a bit late

Ah not too bad, as far as I know they had plenty of track time left. I had to stay on untill 4.30 as someone was supposed to turn up between 4 and 4.30 for a run, but then got stuck on the track due to someone (a Z4) hitting the tyre wall at Quarry. I had finished by 2ish and would have taken the 318is out if it wasn't for that lol.

Did you have a go?

Dyno day went well, but only 9 out of the "confirmed" 15 or so turned up, its getting a bit of a trend it seems.

Yeah that Z4 was a mess, will be written off i think, happened right in front of us, I bet he was doing about 70!

Jon went round but alas my turd needs a new clutch now so didnt get the chance....

Yes, I heard about that one, if there is a beemer to go off the circuit it seems to be either a Z3 or Z4 both of the MPower variety
