Sure PPF used CP pistons in thier 963bhp monster.

That being the case I'd say buy with confidence, but do check that out :D

thanks guys,

ant directed me towards je pistons but while searching the states i found cp pistons had specific pistons for what i wanted for about $50 more than the je but no one i had spoken to had heard of them.

will i be likely to have any problems with taxes etc if i order from vac motorsports in the states? anyone used them before?

thanks

i use vac quite a bit, very good service, the gear always is here in about 4 days so exllent post service and not too pricey, the only thing is im in guernsey so i dont pay tax on anything so i dont know how much they would sting you on that?

I had to pay VAT on a £1500ish order from VAC, but the bits were still good and cheap!

I would consider CP pistons as one of thee best piston manufactures around, if you tell them exactly what you want they are more than helpful in making one-offs quickly at good prices. Pistons are extremely strong and durable if your going for very high power levels best advised to use some cylinder liners as your more likely to crack the block before you damage these pistons, well worth the money!

Yep, vacmotorsports.com are top guys! They are currently giving me loads of advice on an S14 M3 engine I am building.

Only thing I am worried about is the cost of the duty on the parts once they enter this country. I wonder if they could put "second hand parts" or "gift" on the customs forms? lol
