Bmw 318is 1990 - self revving!!!!

Hi there,

I am having a problem with my e30 318is, when she reaches temp she firstly can be felt to faulter and then she will suddenly rev up very high by herself. This generally occures when the clutch is depress, she revs so high that I have to switch the engine off. It also happens if I start her up and just let her idle to reach temp, all of a sudden by herself she'll just RRRREEEEEEVVVVV!!!!

I have checked the throttle cable and levers, checked and replaced breather hoses, changed vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator, cleaned out the Air Mass Meter and also the idle control valve.

I am now at the end of my tether because she drives nice, moves accordingly but is playing me up and I dont know where to go now!!!!!
