online manual for E30 (or advice please)

Hi,

Picking up an 87 e30 auto on saturday, which I hope to tow home (about 50 miles).

Read about max speeds (30mph) and gearbox oil heat (max40 miles) - could someone check the handbook to see what it says about towing one of these please?

Lever in N.
Max speed 50 km/h.
Max distance 50 km.
For greater distances, remove propshaft, or add 1 litre of ATF to the gearbox.

Get a tow truck to lift it from the back, i did it and its a lot easier and less worries about the box burning out.

Thanks folks. I have a rigid 'A' frame tow thingy. rather than add / remove oil, I will have a go at removing drive shaft - assume its 8 bolts and drop type of thing??
