You're right, it's a bad pic. I have two copies (well one now, one went with the cab on Saturday), they're both clearly black. Anyone who disagrees, clearly prefers farm animals for 'intimate relations'

I was searching for an old Kid's mag, "I love horses", but that was the closest I could get with Google! I never read it, but the TV advert jingle scarred my memory.

Maybe that's why I Love Horses is no longer in print! Personally, I think I'll just stick to Countryfile. No pun intended.

think thats just dodgy 80s printing mate. Just do it yourself, its easy to get a factory look finish if you rub it back properly etc, in fact mine looked so good it kind of puts the rest of the grill to shame so ill be doin that too

i have a slight feeling its not a photo but drawn look at it look at the black circle around the badge , im no photographer but can you do that with lighting effects ? but as much as i want to say is black i unfortunatly cant CHROME

it's black and i had one on an L reg touring that was totally standard and factory fitted .

i have a black grille here that was never chrome to start with,they do exist.
