Hey guys, m44 conversion is due to start this weekend, which should be fun!

Anyway, been looking for a supercharger for it, wanted the downing atlanta kit from ca, but it seems that has been discontinued

Does anybody know where I can find a s/c kit from now? I think someone mentioned Dips doing one a while back but not sure.

Please dont tell me to put in an m3 lump or anything, I have chosen this cos it's a bit different, and I wanna champion the four pot greatness! (cue 4pot bashing!)

Cheers, Mike.

Might just be me but they didn't seem to have anything for the e36 engines? Found a mosselman supercharger kit here

http://www.tdi-plc.com/catalog/product_ ... ts_id=5470

Dont know if anyone knows anything about this kit? Seems ok, but the link to its performance figures is not available at the moment.

Im not looking within a specific price range, just trying to see whats out there - I had heard good things about the dasc, but it is no more. I'll maybe try Ant then - cheers mate.

Ideal budget 2 - 2.5k but I understand it may go over that. Like I said I am open to suggestion, I understand there are quite a few people on here that really know their stuff, so any advice is welcomed.

What I'm looking to get power-wise is somewhere in the region of 200bhp, now these were the figures quoted for the dasc kit, which was allegedly a bolt on system.

The other thing is at this point I dont want to run really high boost, I will do that later once I have funds to sort out the internals properly.

Something could be done using an eaton m62 Within reasonable cost levels presumably?

Well the eaton is the perfect charger for the job but to fit into that budget you'll have to do a lot of the engineering yourself, a complete ground up project.

Doesn't Ant offer bolt on supercharger kits these days? I certainly seem to remember seeing a picture of his M20 kit using a centrifual supergharger.

I'm in no major rush, and am willing to explore the possibility of doing it myself, as long as I can gather the info and parts listing.

Wouldn't want to get it wrong :boom:

Might try Ant, just to see what he comes up with - he is a bit magical when it comes to these things!

That seems within reason, I know his stuff is good, might have to save a few more pennies and book a couple of weeks off then!
