Hi
Does anybody have an idea to make an exhaust quieter. I have a very free flowing exhaust (I took a torch and looked up the exhaust pipe throught the rear silencer and there is nothing! I can see the other side of the silencer, there is nothing to make it quiter) that makes one hell of a noise!!!
Ive heard of varous things that can be put up the exhaust but Iam afraid this might damage the engine. Is this the case?

I have also heard about new tailpipe inserts with bafflers in them. Do they work???

Thanks

bmw exhausts are actually really good, pattern ones vary in quality,
but the ones from gsf are good if you want an o/e spec system

The scorpion lemans on mine is only b/box, and is far to loud. It was on there when I got the car. I would love an alpina/quicksilver one like Hap is selling, but cant afford that much, and I have 2nd refusal on 325itracky's one, but don't think that its gonna happen, think the guy with 1st refusal is gonna have it!!!

so considering buying one from gsf, think there about Ԛ£80 (b/box)
