I am thinking about taking the m30 out of its current home (325i touring) and putting it in my 320i touring.

Is there any difference in doing the conversion on a 320?

Anything anyone thinks I need to be aware of would be much appreciated!

Thanks all :thumb:

not really. assuming you have a suitable diff, struts, ARB's etc, swap the lot over

if you're really unlucky, your insurance company might evaluate it on a % increase in power (differs from company to company on how they work it out) so you'll now have about a 83% power hike, compared to the 29% power hike you had before :D

All i had to change so far on my 320i was to a 325 gear linkage, but also put on a rear arb, discs, and bigger front struts...
