What is actually happening at the Brand's meets? Any tracktime?

I doubt it - but Brands is probabaly the best venue to watch E30 racing. The spectacle of 30+ cars steaming into the first chicane is something else.
If the weather holds, it'll be immense. The last time I went with Ant and his Mrs there was a big Barby on the go!

The June date is a Kuhmo race weekend and will be E30 and E36 on track in the organised events...so no track time...need to come to an organised trackday for that...throughout the year

Are tickets needed for the Brands Hatch meet on Sunday 8th June, or do we just roll up on the day, also is membership of a BMW club required?

Hi...you will need tickets for the day from Motorvision or at the gate

Parking will be in a free dedicated area provided by Brands Hatch so dont need to be a member to park there for this event..

Still looking for someone to do the BBQ or supply some food

Hi...you need to logon to Brands Hatch and check standard prices...they would not discount the entrance but agreed to the free parking area and if all works out we have the agreement in principle to a controlled lap of the circuit

Neil. May 26th brands. is that a BMWCC members only day or are Zoners welcome as well? Thinking of a convoy from Clacketts. i know the pompey guys are sorting a convoy for the June brands meet (Which I cannot make )

Hi...I was at Brands this weekend for the Masters Series and despite the rain was a great weekend...the parking area stayed dry and worst case could sit in the car and watch the racing...no problems

See you on the 8th...Just tell them at the gate that you are part of the BMW display and then they will let you go straight ahead towards the grandstands rather than into the carpark.

Then you will see the cars parked on the gravel area on the right facing the start/finish straight

Hi have just joined the forum and also the BMW Car Club the other day, i have just purchased a E30 early 1984 320i SE, (4 door thou, may not be everybodys choice but i like it!!)



The car is very original and hasnt been restored/welded etc, it does have a few marks here and there and a bit of surface rust on the arches and front and rear valance etc, i am in the process of just cleaning it up for this year with the intention of a full re paint ready for next year!!, with new parts/trim as required etc etc

I am unable to post yet on the BMW club forum and noticed that you might not have a chrome 320 for Gaydon and was wondering if i could put my car forward if possible, i know its not concours etc but it is good condition for its year and would demonstrate just how well these cars were built and made to last!!!

Hope i can help out if possible and if theres any room for Bracknell i'd like to come along as well, not been greedy or anything
