Yes
My 635 had a dog leg manual, and lots of rust.
The big coupe group is good buy one from there which is known, the rot in the inner wings is comples to fix. So buy a minter or a project any half way ground will cost?
If you want a project car I drjim has one, at least you now were you stand with the rot.

That’s good news’s well I have now signed up with the bigcoupe and now going to do my intense research and hopefully on one good day ill see the rite one and buy it.
I would rather prefer a manual as that’s what I like over the 2 types of transmission types.
Not anytime soon but will I own one maybe in the near coming 2 years.

No, they're not. You've been believing the scare stories of the eBay sellers of knackered rusty wings. They're about £525 inc VAT. If you have a good relationship with the dealer you'll get them for about £450.a_kara wrote:and new e24 wings are £650no1_jazz wrote: also a brand new ginuwine bmw side wing for the e30's are around 120mark i think

One would think it's cheaper to get plastic/carbon wings - lighter and no more rust problems ever. True?cecotto479 wrote:No, they're not. So, there you go! Why then are people buying metal? OEM obsession and/or because it's marginally safer in a crash?

Because the fibreglass ones don't fit and look hellish. The last I heard they were NLA as well. There was an attempt at carbon fibre a couple of years ago, but i don't think it came to anything.casper8r wrote:So, there you go! Why then are people buying metal? Fair enough. I stand corrected. I last priced them in 2006 and could get a pair for under £900. IIRC the discount available on them is good.a_kara wrote:latest e24 wing price, you made need to zoom in to see it clearly

no problem at all
bmw gb/ag recently adjusted a lot of their prices and are also making sure a lot of dealers are winding their necks and the discounts given.
