Any ideas about the thin chrome surround on the windscreen that's under clear plastic? The one on mine has started to rust under the plastic so I would like to replace it.

In answer to your original question, the chrome strip is still available from BMW. Take your chassis number in and they will supply it no prioblems except maybe a couple of days wait.
