hi, i had a couple of people ask me about my diff hanger, took a coulple of pics today while i was taking the motor out.

Is that in addition to the stock mount, and have you solidified the default mounting in the same way?
...or is it?

That looks good, i went for the e36 rear diff plate, so cut the original one off and refabricated it with the 2 pick up points + double skinned the boot floor + reinforced the mounts with uprights coming from the welded srear strut brace.
my set up is clearly overkill as i'm only running a rotex charger and a bar of boost but better safe than sorry.

There was a guy on here who did tear the mount off the boot floor so everyone's been thinking about ways to stop that happening.
I'd been thinking along exactly the same lines as Rossle there, only in steel and picking up on the upper bolt holes.
Don't suppose it makes any difference though, excellent work there dude!

ahhhhh ok! well they are running considrably more power; diff flexes a lot more then that means!
wont this reinsforcement mean that a bit more vibration is felt through the car? im sure rossle mount will hold it very well; two strong pick up points; where else can he well it too, lolo!
