well just general times really, different spec's. How about:

1: M20 engine N/A
2: up to 2.5L FI
3: over 2.5L N/A
4: over 2.5L FI

your surely not going to get a time of 3.6 seconds with only 295rwhp?id have thought 400+ bhp would be needed for that sort of time?

Drag slicks must make a big difference getting off the line and when changing from first to second gear... ?

3.6 seconds is quite an amazing for an E30 with a chassis designed twenty five years ago (unless this was a spaceframed jobby)! ?

I once passengered in a Ferrari F50 which gets to sixty in about that and I just can't imagine an E30 doing it! 8O :?

A Seirra cosworth which has a similar chassis to the E30 will do this but with approx 450-500bhp in 2wd form, a bit less power in 4wd form on road leagal tyres.

how do you measure this anyway?
For launch 0-60ft is a better test (time to distance opposed to time to speed) if you need to shift in 3rd just below 60 like most e30 then your time will suffer by about 0.5sec

Swedes are in the mid 2´s.
As some run mid 9´s 1/4.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

He did 0-60 in 3.2 secs, 2.97 welded diff, slicks and lots of balls of the line . Qtr passed in 11.88 secs

PPF have it sorted, the power they put out is pretty much out of reach for 99% or us mere mortals.

I would think most of us FI e30's are able to pull high 5's on the 0-60's, I've seen low 6's playing about myself however I'm too kind too my clutch to keep trying.
