I know there's not normally many BMWs competing but surely we should get some serious zone presence in the carpark? I missed last year but I'm definitely going to this one!
Anyone else interested?
Here's the site http://www.totb.co.uk/home/
I was blown away by the quality of the cars there when I went.

Looks good to me, a day out at elvington is always good - usually a good butty van as well!

This week I've mostly been on honeymoon!!!!

I've no idea what can be done in terms of organisation except maybe meeting up early somewhere else and going in convoy so we park together. I went to TOTB two years ago, the weather was scorching and there were some really really awesome cars there. Turbo Hayabusa Westfields, 1000bhp skylines, RX-7s and I saw a Ford Granada (box shaped) go past the timing lights at 186 mph. The queues for the drag start and handling circuit were not fenced off so you could go up and chat with the drivers and dribble on their cars.
I also have a Fiat Coupe so I was chuffed to bits when they did well in the FWD class, but a bit embarrassed when a wheel came off one on the handling course and rolled across the standing mile track.... no harm done in the end
There were thousands of people there and definitely a lot butty vans

I should be there as it's 5 mins away.
As said already, if you want to get parked together then you WILL need to arrive in convoy. There are so many cars there in the car park that there is even a shuttle bus from one end to the other.
That granada serioiusly gives me the horn, preferred it when it was 5.7 twin turbo

Anyone can enter but not everyone is selected to compete. From what I can gather you need to provide timing slips from quarter mile runs and details of your modifications/dyno sheets to prove that you're in the running. Last time I looked into it, it was about 14s for FWD cars on the quarter mile to get in. Seeing as you're up against agile little beasts like MR2 turbos and megahayabusa Westfields, I think you need a couple of superchargers!
