What's the general deal with grub at this event, do we need to fanny about bringing stoves or BBQ's & burgers etc or is there a chuck wagon always open?

I think the E46 alloys will be our key to acceptance with the Billing patronage :)
O/T but this plate is currently being advertised by an agency for £6000.

Seeing if I can get the car finished in time to come along and put a few faces to names... I've met a few of the old school crew years ago, but haven't done much with the car since.

Wish me luck!
...or is it?

Got a couple of head mounted elastic job thing LED torches that 'flash' quite bright - will be bringing these along to re-create "Rain Dance" back in the early 90's lol.

Well, might have been good but just been out in my iS and the steering rack looks like it's shot (left a nice little puddle in Tesco's car park!) so unless I can get hold of a replacement and fit that it doesn't look like i'll be there!! dammit!

Disconnect the drive belt to the pump and we'll see you there - it'll be fine just heavier steering.

He's right!

So much scum in one area! Better nip down to JD Sports for some suitable attire. Engerland football vest (no sleeves), Police shades, a pair of those strides that are neither full length or proper shorts (Nike), some £200 trainers plus a bit of tribal body art. I should fit right in.

I’m heading up there on the Friday about midday ish / 1pm - can’t waste any time on getting on it large lol - out of interest Dave, do you make number plates in the shop?
E30BeemerLad wrote:Yeah, cheers for that Neil, what's your tipple? :)
Scotch. Scotch + more Scotch lol - maybe an occasional Hamlet cigar thrown in for good luck lol
essexboy wrote: and neil is ben coming this year?
Not to sure atm - he managed to blow the g/box on the Carrado and the Audi failed it’s test but, you never know fella, we’ll find out early next week.

Just to add - Sarah bought me the ”˜Daddy’ of Gazebo’s which in turn will form part of the ”˜chill out’ room again this year.

And where we all gonna meet up to start this convoy then?

Neil.
