Any ideas as doing my head in ??

I replaced the factory blaupunt stereo in the car yesterday with a brand new sony multi thingy.. I even used the original wiring harness etc and job was a good'n and done with in a few minutes. All seems good but now my speedo has stopped working !!!

Anyone experienced this before ??

Have u checked the back of the clocks may have nocked one of the multi plugs out

Yeah all seems good. Everything else works... Fuel computers a bit loopy at the mo coz I guess that needs the speedo in order to work properly..

Could just be coincidental.

The feed for the speedo is from the diff. Just check that it hasn't a) opped out, or b) a wire been frayed.

Don't think changing your head unit will have anything to do with it though...

checked the fuse? mine done this last year and this was the solution.

I'll give it a go once I leave the `Sweat Box' called work...

I think I've just got 3rd degree burns getting into my car.. Don't you just love black E30's with no Air Con !!!
