NO is the short of it a 3 inch downpipe will fit but you have to batter the firewall to fit past the steering coupling.
plus the ebay manifold requires a strenghting support as it will bend anad crack if not supported lots of info on the site use the search facility
regards
Ben

ok mate but they are all crap compared to my one anyway !!!! ( now mine has been moleted for more power gaines )
its just my opinion but TBH i would not use 3inch down pipe as 3 inch exhaust pipe is hard to fit ask ANT and Mr fozzy monster

lol

It's not THAT bad
although speed bumps are now taken very slowley
There's plenty of room for a 3inch pipe under the car, under the rear beam is very tight and my bracket holds the exhaust almost onto the rear beam to stop it bashing everything.
I would suggest a side exit if I was going to do it again, or do a bottom mount turbo and avoid running the downpipe down the bulkhead.
Fozz.

What sort turbo set up are you gonna use as i need to know fro what type of turbo to supply.
Hve you got a wastgate yet ???
eg what boost etc . power figures and engine build and CR is preferable
and what type of delivery do you require !!!!

wastegate is under the turbo mate vented to atmosphere, but mite reroot it to the downpipe if its too loud, and i relocated the oil filter on the out side of the chassis leg with the mocal kit.
really need to get my ass in gear and get my new motor in, times running out for santa pod.....
hope this helps

be careful with that mocal kit as mine the flow was stamped the wrong way round and it blew the pipe causing some detremental effects to my engine.

yeah i was thinkin about removing the wastegate spring for the first thousand miles,
i have a large holset hybrid, tubular manifold, tial 44mm wastegate, tial 50mm bov, huge intercooler, 3" downpipe, ppf adjustable vernier pully, sachs 618 pressure plate with 6 puk clutch, cat cams turbo cam, oringed and welded head, fully rebult block with arp mains and head studs, milled and ballenced pistons for 8.0cr, shot peened and balenced rods, ballenced crank, megasquirt and waste spark, but im thinking of getting rid, and going for autronic sm4 instead, off the top of my head i cant think of much more for the engine side, but since i done that i ended up getting willwood brakes up front and polybushings eibach antirollbars, had the diif hanger redesigned with twin billet ally hangers, the list goes on and on really mate, and theres still loads to do, it will never truely be finished....
its fair to say i think i might have gone over board, but it should drive like a new car because it basically is...

its more, a hx40, 16cm housing, and i also have an 18cm housing too, with the diff hanger, il get some pics on the weekend, i welded the original one all round, then one the other side i got a piece of billet ally made for it with a bushing, and made a mount to the beam, should be strong enough, its all a bit overkill really as im only gonna take it to around 450whp, but i want the option to take it well above that, and if that motor blows il build a fully forged one, my main aim was to have the highest powered 2.5 in the uk. as i know most people go for 2.7 when high powered turbo, but i thought i would do it different..
we will have to do a duel at the pod,
if i ever get it finished........
