Damn wish I'd seen this post a few days ago.....
Just fitted mine and didn't check gaskets against manifold! It has sealed however and is a little quicker at high revs!

Hello all,
I read this post of BMracing? I told him that he has got a manifold from our new stock and that he has got perhaps a faulty one. I told him we will check the rest of the manifolds we have here. It is possible that he just got one which is not OK. If the others we have are correct he will get another back section asap! When all of this stock is not correct that´s worst case scenario he have to wait for 2 months . Than we will have new in stock.
So don´t panic, we just check the ones we have here. It doesn´t mean that all the ones we have are wrong. I think BMracing had bad luck and has got a wrong (faulty ) one.
What we do now is check the ones we have, and if they´re all wrong we have to wait 2 months.
So this will be continued...
Best regards,
Louise

Louise, From the date you supplied my manifold is mine likely to be among the faulty batch, please? It fitted with no more problems than I would expect from any aftermarket item but ,as your can expect,I am now a little concerned..

Don´t worry as I said we will check it. We sold about 40 manifolds now. And just 2 had this broblem. So I don´t think concerning is not necessary

Looks ok, try mating a set of gaskets up to them and see if the mounting holes and pipes line up ok.

Guys,
Keep checking your manifolds.
Our Australia buy arrived and it turns out that my set appear to have the exact same "reverse flange" issue described above. Front half looks good apparently, but the rear half appears to have the good old "flipped over" flange. The fellow who coordinated our buy has contacted Louise.
I just hope I'm not going to lose a great pile of cash in shipping over this. Shipping to Australia ain't cheap.

Has this issue been fully resolved for all concerned yet? (eg. BMracing etc.)

Problem is still outstanding then.
Thanks for the update fellas. Hope you all get it sorted quickly and smoothly.
Must be costing HT in repeat carriage, esp. to far away places like Melbourne.
I'm really keen to hear how this goes as I may or may not get one of these.

I am not the kind of person who buys for looks and sound. My manifold has given a positive boost in power, how much I have no idea but there is a distinct extra 'kick' above 3500rpm.IMO the best upgrade available for £200.I have no connection with Hottuning and have never met Louise(unfortunatly)john325tewerin wrote:Problem is still outstanding then.

Not at all, just a satisfied punter.Very easy to complain, but not many folk are prepared to offer praise where it is due. I feel very sorry for the people that have been let down, but Louise and her gang are 'piggy in the middle' here and do seem to be doing all they can to resolve this manufacturing problem.siddiqi1 wrote:cheeeky bugger; trying to get some sort of discount on future products!!!lolhave no connection with Hottuning and have never met Louise(unfortunatly)![]()
