Does anyone here know which way to un-do this bolt (clockwise or anti-clockwise) on 318is?. I have been trying all morning with no joy. Can I remove the chain without un-do the tensioner?

We took the head off a 318is yesterday to repair the leaking profile gasket.
We removed the tensioner it was a normal right handed tread, nothing too major just quite tight.
Hope you get it undone, it is fustrating when you get stuck!
