cleaning my headlights, any suggestions?

hey everyon, im going to take my headlights off to clean, any suggestions as to what works best to clean off all the years and bring back that new glass look?

Yes mate,tis a dilemma.........some people split the seals and clean the glass separate and then reseal.
You can get a reasonable result with the aid of a bit of wire with some sponge attached with glass polish on it but carefull patience is required !
A swill out with warm soapy water is a good starting point.

Depends on how much time you want to spend really.
They look alot better after a clean thou. 8)

I removed the complete units and gave them a swill with soapy water, and they came out like new.
