PBMW this month - Riger 8-series?

Any one got or looked through Performance BMW this month. I flicked through it while looking for race car engineering, and saw what looked like a Riger 8-series?

Its a Koenig, its was on Pistonheads for a while, seems the new owner has bought it and its been featured (due to rarity) straight away.

Or the mag struggling to find feature worthy cars! It's been going a while now and the BMW scene is so small here it's only a matter of time before quality cars worth featuring run out!!!

hey bootyman ive still got the magazine when your car was in it,love the kit on yours,that koenig 8 looked quite nice aswell

Which Edition? My red car has been it 3 times now. Once when it was blue, then when it wans Tangerine and finally cover of the Jan issue ! and my blue MotorSport cab has been it last year as well.

I remember the standard of the cars were so high back then, but now it's not so great. I havent bought a copy for month now

I dont think it's the mags fault because they can only feature what is about. It's just that the days of someone chucking thousands at their car like i have done over the years are over. I've been complaining for years that the mags should pay the owners of the cars they feature. They make millions a month with the sales of the mag, plus all the advertising sales, yet the most important person in the chain (THE OWNERS OF THE FATURED CARS) are the only one who dont get a penny even though they have spent a fortune and countless hours on creating their car. I for 1 dont dance to any mags tune now. When i'm ready and if i feel like giving my car then they can have it. Maguires (Polish Giants) wanted my car to be their featured car for their adverts this year, but they wanted me to take the day off work etc for the shoot. I told them if they cant do it on the day i wont lose a days wage then i'm not interested. Wow. Sorry for long rant

ive got the one when your tangerine e30 was in the march 05 shoot, i remember saying to my dad i would like to have that kit on mine,only 17 sow insurance will kill me if i did all that stuff on my car,so just only done a IS conversion on my 316i,should keep me happy for now,theres rarely a e30 in the PB now,hope to see the cars at some of the meets, and get a few pics

I dont think standards are slipping,i have every single issue of pbmw and feature car material is always changing.Over the years they have featured some right turds,its not just recently.You only have to search the forums to see there are some awesome feature worthy cars out there today.
I agree that feature car owners should get paid,after all without them there isnt a mag!I guess its nice to get some recognition for your hard work tho!

Im not sold on that Koenig 8,why do that to such a nice car?It seems koenig added nasty kits to many bmws and charged the earth for them,anybody see the 6 series they butchered?

they are showing more newer cars,not as many e30 any mores,hey fuzzy why dont you go to tesco and read them thats what i do,has yours been in the PB,INDY
