agreen has reserved a set of 51mm struts with me.

I have 1 set left if anyone's interested?

Normally £73.97 delivered (inc vat) in the shop,

But £60 delivered to any Zone member.
Just trying to help out if you can't get hold of any 51mm struts.

All striped down and ready to go. I can send straight to Dave at Gaz if ness'. He is aware i have a few sets spare.

Cheers :D

I'm not 100% sure........ I haven't got the car back down on its wheels yet but from speaking to James @ beemer redeemer who fitted his last night with the same top mounts, its quite a lot! Around 4 or 5 degree's max I think?? (anybody know)
(James, put up a pic of yours as it is now!!)

Current state of my project....ignore the rust....if you can!

Haven't driven the car anywhere yet, but quality seems fantastic. Except those pants universal top mounts (i don't think they are made by Gaz though?) Spacer 'top hats' are machined badly. File and pillar drill needed. Grr....

Negative camber achieved is fantastic. but have no way of measuring it here. Its going for some basic Geo on Saturday monring so should find out then. I had to raise the front up as the sump was less than 3 inches from the floor. Shame.

Sump does appear to be a vunerable spot on the e30, even more so with a 24v swap!

they catch on the breather pipes, you need to elogate the mounting holes in the top turrets (just a small amount) then you'll have no problems

Ok people ,

Lets talk top mounts ! , What are people using for max neg camber , I wan't something which is "quick" adjustable and do not want to use the ones with the above kit , i have the gaz kit coming to me soon and was wondering what the best option for top mounts is ?

Ordering from the states some ground control ones ?

I was gonna have the ones from the for sale thread but they will not work with GAZ coilovers i have been told by the maker of the struts and this was confirmed by the seller as they are for the wrong spring size .

thanks in advance

you have to elongate the whole in the rear turret where the top mount sits so they move a few mm away from the inner wing is how i read it..

yes will bolt straight on using standard front top mounts, and will need to slot the holes on the drivers side rear turret to clear the fuel breather. thats about it. and will need to get the tracking done afterwards.
