Hi all.
I'm currently undertaking a nut and bolt rebuild on a 325i touring with a final goal as a very competant track toy.
All the sound insulation has been scrapped of the inside and the cage welded in and i have a little dilemaof what colour do i paint the inside, so please help me.
What colour do i paint the interior?

Black is too dark! Be like being in a cave. Something nice and light would be better. Black looks shite if it gets dusty so will be just as bad if left. Lighter colours are better for spotting leaks and if you drop something it's easier to find. Try finding a little black nut on a black floor!

When I get round to doing the interior on my car, I was going to do the floor up to the bottom of the doors in black hamerite or something to give a harder wearing finish for feet, then touch up the rest of the interior in the body colour.

Go with the colour of the car.
And agree with shorty, a black interior will make it a horrible place to be.
