probably go and get another set of wheels.
i had bought these wheels when this running gear was on a mk5 escort that i'd coverted to rear wheel drive, and i needed maximum offset.
but now i need different offsets, so i'll have to get different wheels

drove the car for the first time today :woohoo:
it was only from the drive into the garage, though :(
but it's a start.
finished the clutch this afternoon, to get the flexible rubber pipe onto the slave cylinder though, i had to take the complete exhaust system back off, didn't mind too much though, as i wanted to re-do one or two joints.
now she's purring like she's waiting for the green lights of a nascar race.
no brakes yet so no heroics putting it back in the garage.
i dont think 'er indoors would welcome a 'number 11' on the drive, she's allready giving me grief about the living room cabinate door vibrating, everytime i start it

best and easiest way to do it is to just get running gear from an e30 m3.....

made a start on the brakes this afternoon,
i've decided to go with original servo and master cylinder.
i'll have to get the master cylinder piston output checked to see if it will supply enough fluid for the recieving pistons.
if it doesn't, it'll be a simple master swap.
i've decided to mount it where my battery was, on the bulkhead, just in front of the brake pedal.
will put up a few pics when i get it mounted.

ure so close i bet u can almost taste it!!!!!

sometimes i think that,
and then sometimes i go out the garage and think, f**king hell, there's
still loads to do :violin:

but i hope to get it mot'd in the next month or two,
then it'll be two years of 'product development'
tweaking this and tweaking that :banghead: .

the brakes are the last big job, then its bushes, bodywork
and genarally tidying bits and pieces up.
but once it's mot'd, i'll start using it

:drive:  :drive:  :drive:

ps. thank's for all the positive comments
