Thats not (too ) bad, I have heard talk of BMW warrantied rebuilt M20's for sale for in the region of £6k-£7k at local dealers.

Christ thats not bad for the M20, I looked a while ago and it was definatly more expensive than that.
If I were building a concours stock sport thats what I'd buy, unfortunatly I have £1000's of pounds worth of custom pistons and rods so won't be.
Don't think either the M50 or S50 are worth that for recon warrantied or not! At least a e30 is mildly collectable and a stock mint sport rare as rocking horse poo. Just think Hubble could have effectivly a 00000 milage sport factory fresh.
