Coilover kit for e30

Been looking into some coilover kits for my 1990 e30 325i sport. So I wanted originally H&R adjustables. Ordered them up to get a call about two days later form the company I bought them from telling me I'dhave do send them my front shock stripped down before I can get my coilovers. I use the car not as a daily drive but still I need something to bolt on before I take anything off. Been looking around everywhere, a friend reccomended FK Konigsport kit, called a few places that "supposeably" sell them and all I get is either, they don't deal with them anymore too many waiting, no idea what really I want, or they'll get back to me and never call back.
This is annoying me now I have the money ready to buy a good coilover kit and I can't seem to buy one. I don't mind sending my old shocks off it's just I need the coilovers to bolt on first.

So my question being; where can i buy a set of good coilovers from that don't require me to send off my old stuff before I get the coilovers? What has everyone on here who has coilovers had to do? Any websites people can direct me to? I deally I want either bilstein, FK or H&R good quality coilovers that will allow me to run 65mm ride height front and back and some good handeling.

No not for track but serious road driving, want the handeling spot on, it's lyk a couch at the moment aha. Want to run it about 60-70mm low on front and rear. Prolly 60mm any more and i'll be loosing the handeling on rear wheel camber. Looking at some Bilsteins that I don't think require exchange and they're £1100.

Never knew Bilsteins did coilovers for the E30.

why not just source a pair of strut casings from a fellow zoner and send them off?

First off, you're not going to be dropping 70mm, on coilovers or anything else. An e30 without springs will be down 76mm at the front; a 60mm drop puts you on the (custom) bumpstops. If you actually want the car to handle, i.e. absorb bumps mid-corner without becoming unsettled, 50mm is about the limit.

To be brutally honest, you don't want coilovers. The only advantage they give over a well-designed kit is the enormous range of spring rates available, including those (over 300 lb/in) only really suitable for a track car.
For road use, however "spirited" , you're far better off with something like H&R's Cup kit, plus uprated anti-roll bars. This will immensely improve handling over stock, without ruining ride quality or making the car annoyingly noisy.

I can say that the H&R coilovers are superb!!!! Use them on track and on the road daily!!!

Can also say however, that the H&R cup kit is also excellent!!!!

Make sure they're paired up with good arb's and bushes!!
