Koenig ?
I bet it cost a bloody fortune in its day lol. I kinda like it and never saw an e28 Koenig before (if thats what it is). Probably wouldn't be my daily driver though

Couldn't agree more, the E28 M5 was the "ultimate Q car" and that is the ultimate POO CAR!

An E30 touring, two E28 M5's and an E28 528i.

Atleast the rear arch and front wing rust issues have been nailed on the head

E30 M3 Unichip Alpha N style conversions, this is the ultimate for extracting the best out of your S14 M power car.
Also, Live mapping of your Standard Motronic ECU for optimising all your modifications.

I really like that, if it is a Koenig its going to be pretty tasty under the bonnet too, plus I bet the rear arches are metal.
Back in its day that would have been very tasty, granted now tastes have changed, but if you can't appreciate something for what it was then somethings wrong.

The ad states that it's an original M5 that's been custom modified this way by KHL (Karl Heinz Langenberg) after a side crash... I've seen worse repairs! And if you look them up, they seem to be decent tuners.
Kind of really suits an 80's bad boy look, although totally out of fashion nowadays.
Garaged from 98 to 05 with the 11 and 13x 15 BBS included in the auction, it will certainly have made somebody very happy!

I agree with Wiledw, the 80's were the golden era for cars!!
E24 M6,E30 M3, UR Quattro, Integrale, F40 and no Traction Control, need I say more

It's more than just a car dear!
