To dye it....

And to clean and condition them i've heard great things about 'Gliptone'.

Have a read through the seat restoration sticky in tech help, lots of usefull advice there,I have used Gliptone's products and can agree that they do just what it says on the tin.

I have never used a Gliptone product but Im going to get some as everyone rates it.

Just one query if you paint the front seats wont they go harder rather than the soft your after? Only asking as Im also interested in getting mine up to scratch.

according to the furniture factory its special paint, thats meant to be soft, i think! its designed for this application so they obviously assume people will need it to be soft... i hope!

Stu, I'd go with satin finish. original leather has a dull sheen, so not full gloss like most are now but also not a flat as matt finished stuff.

Depends how the rear bench has worn

I'm guessing use Gliptone first to soften the leather then using Colourant kit. I'd proberly would use the Colourant kit directly after using Gliptone maybe give it few hours? :?

any sort of hide feed works great

rub it in with a cloth then leave it for a couple mins, then just wipe off the residue. feels rank if you get it on your hands though!!

Gliptone cleaner then Gliptone Conditioner, clean once again then apply the colourant kit.

Gliptone as the lads say does exactly what it says on the tin and is so easy to use.

I prefer to use a sponge applicator rather than the brush/spray but its down to personal choice. Make sure you leave the leather for at least four hours (preferably overnight) before giving it a final coat of conditioner.
