Hi all
I'm just curious to know how many K plate 325i Tourings we have on here?
Must be original not 316/318 engine transplants.
I bought one yesterday and know they are quite rare after a J plate.
Cheers Spadge...

Yeah theres a few L plates about but they are more than likely to be 318's like that one. Spadge is on about an M20 2.5i touring.fingerman wrote:The more time I spend on here the more I'd like a touring![]()

Put the last seven digits of the chassis number into realoem.com and it will come up.SPADGE wrote:How do i find out the build date?

Hi mateB7 wrote:Blimey that is a late one. Any good?
Its not too bad really with just one panel (offside rear door) which needs replacing as its rotten at the bottom and a couple of minor scabs on the nearside rear arch.
Its done 150k with history and has a decent spec with black leather, obc and dealer fitted (not factory) air con.
Unfortunatly some herbert has removed the a/c pump, condensor and chopped the 2 pipes going to them but i'm sure i'll find some somewhere.

Not many K plated 325 tourings about (not to many Js either). I've never seen an L plated 325 touring. I wonder if production of the 325 tourings ceased before the smaller engined ones? There always seem to be quite a few green late 318is tourings about for some reason. Maybe the late plated 325s were old stock?
When was the last time you could walk into a showroom and order (and receive) an e30 325i touring?

reg or chassis number check at any bmw dealer, it will also tell you the original factory spec so you can see then if anything is missing or been added!SPADGE wrote:Tourings are the only e30 to havefingerman wrote:The more time I spend on here the more I'd like a touring![]()

If you read above you will see i've checked it already and its an 01/93
Last E30 325i was made 4/93, so I guess an L plate could be possible??
If it was made in April and arrived in May/June the buyer may have waited until the L plate in August, people did used to hang on for 2 months to get the new plate when they came out only once a year.
