Bad signal?

I live in an area of fairly bad mobile signal and I am not the sort to be chasing buyers 24/7. Could have happened to the chap in question?

I agree, theres several places i go to where the signal drops to zero, work is the main one.

On the other hand, i hate aggro down the phone, eaven my boss has had the phone put down on him if he's got agressive.

personally i would have tried calling back first to avoid any confusion such as this just in case it was a lost signal before launching into a slating thread.

dont get on the net as much as i would like (allthough maybe i should to defend myself!) i was speeking to will327 in WORK on a saturday afternoon in work whilst i was having a smoke, my girlfrend had been yapping on for half hour before he rang and been tired the night before i did not put my samsung u700 on charge like the good boy that i usually am! so halfway through explaining the condition of the car my battery died, and as other people who have rang off here will know i am strait to the point, helpfull as i can be and dont want to waste anyones time hence and am genuinly giving the best description i can. there are new pics in the ad that a ZONER requested i will speak to anyone and will normally ring people back if they leave message or txt etc, bearing in mind i was on a 12 hour shift and had work related issue's on my mind i guess i forgot to ring this guy back.

WILL327 if you are interested in the car please by all means get in touch and finish the conversation we were having before trying to make me out as some ignorant fool to all these good people when you never even attempted to ring or even leave a message for me to get in touch with you. your the buyer you want it you chase it, the car stands me at a lot more than am selling it and am peeved to get rid let alone chase everyone who rings! how many phone calls do you think i have had, havent got time to chase every one of them as most of them are time wasters asking questions like how many people have farted on the drivers seat etc! and for my personal opinion if some one put the phone down on me when i was phoning about a car i wouldnt start a thread crying over it on the internet i would just ring the next one up! lol.

hope my defence is suitable! sorry if my spellings off as im a tad intoxicated!

car is now on ebay by the way link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1989-BMW-E30-320I ... dZViewItem

there is no argueing that the cossie engine is an outstanding piece of engineering that ford could not match (fiesta rs turbo and escort rs)..although think cosworth did the escorts engine.not sure... the styling on the escort cossie though is stunning...still give me a party in my pants when i see one.. sssssswwwwweeeeeeetttttt

I called about the car and asked several questions.

I also requested a few pics of certain common problem areas of the car, these were added to the thread promptly and also emailed to me within 30 mins of the request being made.

By doing so, it's saved me from a 600 mile wasted trip if it turned out to be a complete shitter, and more importantly, me getting Pi55ed off at the seller when i'd turned up and found they'd been rather economical with the truth

I also inquired about any other issues that there may be and was informed accordingly

To summarise, in defence of 3201se,as far as i can tell,he's been up front about the car in question and i wish him luck on the sale

the o/p seems to have disappeared for the moment so its a bit one sided for a fight. he probably realises that he had jumped the gun a bit by starting this thread in the first place.
if its a general fight your after just start a thread stating how your car inhilated a 318is and how disappointed you were over its lack of serious challenge. that always works :D
