I think it looks ugly, and £22500? 8O

Is it really that rare?

Sorry, saw the bid price, not the buy it now price.

You'd be lucky to get a straight 2002 for £6k

A 2002 was never what you'd call a pretty car. The Touring is horrid and that is even worse. £22'500 buys an absolutely stunning 2002 Turbo which is the only '02 really worth a damn.
Alpina were three blokes in a shed with a toolbox in 1969 and the Turbo was a factory built car. I'd say that thing is worth £5000 as a curiosity. Not 5 grand of my money though.

Not sold on the mini lites. Think BBS suit the 2002, even though it's not strictly period!

The kebabmeister is lovely, I'd love to have some extra chili sauce on that s14'd bad boy!!

I was at the BMW show in Germany where that black thing was photographed - I was at the Ring in 2002/3 in my 320d and I found this event by accident by following a convoy of about 6 really bad taste BMW's.
The blue '02 to the left of it had banded steels. 8O
