Hi all my younger brother went and bought himself a 330 ci e46 and his balls are still itchy after spending 11k....so now he's decided he want a set of wheels was wondering if anyone knew of any nice deep dish 18's or if you could tell me would these beauties fit:

2x 8,5x18 IS14 and 2x 10x18 IS19

I take it the IS figure is the ET?

If so then there are a couple of points, firstly the et of the standard wheels is within the e36 range, et 35-45 as a rule, in which case these wheels are very low, more suited to a 5er, 7er and the e30 M3. Thats not to say that they won't go on though, if he is willing to run stretched tyres, not shy of a bit of a flare on the rear if needed and planning on good suspension if hes thinking of a drop then they will look absolutely class.

The likes of DOTZ will provide wheels with as much dish as that, they will be better offset's and are about a grand.

yeah just copied the description from the seller...but he assures me they will fit with mods....which we don't mind but don't want to do silly work

also don't really want to change the suspension as the car sits fairly low on the original sports springs....anyone got pics of nice wheels on e46's coupes cabs...please give us some inspiration

Go and join the Evo Technic forum. Most of them have E46's and have lots of pics. I know you can run 10x19's cause i had them on my cab and so did my mate. Not sure of the offset though!

Get some pics of your car up.

@ Ben, of course they will go one, but the et figure is the most important thing. your not getting 19x10 ET 10 on without fair arch mods are you, but et 42 and life's easier.

@ Shaze30 gen CSL rims will not fit a non-M e46 without good arch mods, the offset on the rear is too low.

Those Hamann wheels used to be supplied by AutoVogue, last I heard though, they were on a massive back order and unlikely to appear. Ebay has them every now and again though.

Personally I would be looking at BBS rims for that car, some nice CH's. Failing that I would be looking at something from the Image stable, about 18" with a fat dish and low off set, good for a nice tyre stretch.

Have you been looking at 5er fitment ACS rims? !8's will go on with stretched tyres. If the euro look isn't for you then maybe some Dare rims, they have a good selection for the e46, dish and diameter for reasonable prices.
