Does anyone know of a decent 2" twin pipe system for the 325?

I've been getting prices for all the components but it looks like it might be cheaper to adapt something off the shelf rather than start from scratch.

Also, most important this: I don't want any of this gay tailpipe stuff that manufacturers seem so fond of. All I want is a standard looking system that's got larger than standard pipe running the length of it :)

Cheers!

Hate to say it but what about Powerflow? Can they not fabricate something or are you looking to DIY it? Don't know of any off the shelf twin stainless systems..

Mmmmm, can't imagine a custom jobbie being any cheaper than doing it myself :(

Done a bit of rooting around and it looks like Mongoose do a 2" standardish looking system that I reckon I could chop the lame looking tailpipes off of and replace with something normal looking :lol:

I dunno what 2" is in mm, but I run a custom dual 57mm exhaust system, with Cowley boxes (resonators) When it exits it looks stock, just the pipes looks bigger, but I think I want to get them cut straight, like the E30 M3... I like that look :D

51mm is 2" but the system you have is custom as-well and would probably be more expensive than off the shelf. Turbo-Brown is your system not going to have to be a little bit custom due to the turbo or have you got a downpipe that terminates in the same place as the manifolds normally do?

Don't know anyone with a huge bender I take it? :)

Yeah I'm gonna have to make up the down pipes but that's gotta be less work than making a whole system :lol:

Quite a few places seem to supply bends in 2" stuff which I can weld (I hope) into a system or to mate what I've got into an existing system.

Basic maths lesson coming up!

1" = 25.4mm

Therefore

57mm = 2.25"
50.8mm = 2"

Larini and quicksilver exhaust are what your after.. thats what I want, but fairly pricey unfortunatly.. I'm trying to get something to replace the (far to loud) scorpion that was on mine when I bought it.

They both have websites and reply to any query fairly quick.

larinisystems.com
quicksilverexhausts.com

Hope this helps
