e30 convertion

Hi all.
Im new to this site and just after some info.
i have a e30 316 and just need a bigger lump.
im thinking about putting the e36 1.8 twincam into in but i dont know if it would be worth putting the e30 2.5 in. i would rarther have the twin cam but dont think the mounts would be the some and i really dont know how much work in involved eather way.
also i live in tamworth and i would need someone to fit it for me.
can anyone help?

Early E36 twincam is the same engine than in E30 318iS, but in E36 different oilpan and -pump.

M42 is good engine, if i were you i'd find complete E30 318iS engine and gearbox and swap them.
